Experimental 35mm Film Project (Souped Film)

This process of this type of film photography is called souped film. It is where after shooting all of your images, you take your film rolls and you put it in a liquid for some time. What it does is mess with the color chemicals in the film to give it a look that gives the images a dreamy type haze while distorting the colors. The result of my film is from one roll being placed in Dr.Pepper and the other is a combination of tea, honey, dish soap, and lemon juice. Both rolls were soaked in the liquids for 8 hours and finally, after months of waiting, I finally developed them with my sister in her apartment bathroom and then sent off them off to be scanned! They came out looking amazing and I was so happy with how this project came out!
