Cara Benevenia is a luxury handbag brand located in New Jersey that specializes in creating well-crafted handbags out of imported materials from Italy. As their Freelance Photographer, I have been able to work directly with Cara to create photoshoots that are able to capture the story of Cara's brand and her products. Photos have been showcased on the brands socials, website, and New Jersey Digest. These photos were taken on 35mm film and digital.
Cara Benevenia Mini Icons Editorials
Cara Benevenia introduced her newest line of handbags called the "Mini Icons." The idea behind the editorials was to show the different sides that the bag holds and the multiple uses that can come from it. I had the fantastic opportunity to work on this project and was able to utilize the New York City landscape to bring the bags to life. The photographs were used for their websites and Instagram. Cara Benevenia X The Polisher Project
Cara Benevenia and The Polisher Project collaborated they liked to call "A Tale of Two Designers." The two designers came together to present Cara Benevenia's handcrafted luxury handbags and The Polisher Project's hand-crocheted fashion pieces. I had the fantastic opportunity to work on this project and photograph the two designers' works for photos on their websites and Instagrams. These photos were taken on 35mm film and digital.
Cara Benevenia Mixed Metals Photoshoot
Cara Benevenia and I worked on conceptualizing a photoshoot that encapsulated the colorful fall environment while at the same time incorporating a theme of fall romance. Cara and I decided that creating a shoot around the story of a young couple whose date starts with a view by the water and a drive-in movie in a 1966 mustang was the best way to approach the photoshoot. The shoot showcases the beautiful luxury Mixed Metals bags by Cara Benevenia while also displaying the beauty of the New York fall. These photos were taken on 35mm film and digital and were used on the Cara Benevenia social media and website.
